Our 2025 Home & Garden Tour raised over $27,400.00, money CFUW Perth & District will use to help local women attend postsecondary education and financial support to local libaries, community non-profit organizations and education enrichment in our elementary schools.

More than 500 people spent a hot Saturday, July 12th in Perth, touring 11 homes and gardens, listening to live music and viewing original art as they took part in CFUW Perth & District's 2nd annual Home and Garden Tour.
CFUW holds this fund raising event to support our bursaries and community groups and activities. It's a very serious challenge, especially these days, for those seeking post-secondary education, or for women who are starting a new life after leaving a difficult relationship or for children who are struggling with their reading. The dollars we raise help make a difference in the lives of people, right here, in our community.
Thanks to all who supported our CFUW Perth and District Home and Garden Tour. It was definitely a team effort from the parking attendants to the volunteers and team captains, our committee members and local artists and musicians who gave of their time.
We certainly couldn't have done it without our generous homeowners, sponsors and community contributors. More than one of the homeowners said that they're willing to offer their gardens again. Each provided a unique offering, as individual as they are.
Our survey to ticketholders tells us that the vast majority of respondents loved the tour. Here are a few of the comments,
“There was a nice variety of gardens all in town…very different from last year where we travelled in the country, which was very interesting too. Good to have variety…from small little oasis to large estates.”
“My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and lunch. All the volunteers and property owners were pleasant, helpful and informative. We loved the music and art. Keep up the great work CFUW and Perth residents!”
“Spectacular event! Thank you so much!”
“Loved this Home & Garden Tour…so very well organized; appreciated that most locations were in town & easy to walk to; loved the art & music at all locations; loved the fancy picnic lunch; lovely vibe at the Legion, sitting outside at picnic tables with the soft jazz happening. Also all volunteers were friendly & welcoming! It was a perfect day!”
I think we can safely say that we hit it out of the ballpark.
