Education Awards
Recognizing that post-secondary education is a powerful tool for raising the status of women, CFUW Perth and District traditionally allots a significant portion of the funds raised in our community to advancing women's education.

Since 1999, we have awarded $250,275 to 205 women.
These awards offer financial assistance to deserving individuals who identify as female and non-binary who are pursuing post-secondary education in a publicly funded institution. Awards are available to individuals who are just graduating from secondary school as well as mature individuals seeking to upgrade their skills or change careers. Priority is given to those applicants who demonstrate financial need.

All money donated to CFUW Perth & District goes to supporting our fundraising goals, and to providing support for young women in Lanark County to pursue post-secondary education.
In 2024, we established a charitable CFUW Perth & District Education Awards Fund under the auspices of Perth & District Community Foundation.
All donations received through PDCF are earmarked solely to our Education Awards Fund and amounts $20 or more receive a tax receipt.
