❤️ A HUGE Thank You from CFUW Perth & District! ❤️

On July 11, over 540+ guests joined us for the 3rd annual CFUW Perth & District Home & Garden Tour, and WOW—what an incredible experience! From the stunning gardens to the live music, the art, and the warmth of our community, every moment was a celebration of beauty, generosity, and togetherness.

Thank You:

  • To our 540+ guests: Your enthusiasm and support made the day unforgettable. We hope you left inspired, happy, and already dreaming of next year!

  • To our sponsors: Your generosity helps us empower local women, support libraries, and enrich education in our community. We couldn’t do it without you.

  • To our volunteers: From parking attendants to team captains, you were the heartbeat of the event. Your hard work and smiles kept everything running smoothly.

  • To our homeowners: Opening your homes and gardens was an act of pure kindness. Your unique spaces made the tour magical, and we’re so grateful!

  • To our artists and musicians: Your talent filled the air with creativity and joy, turning the tour into a true celebration of art and community. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us!

The Impact of Your Support

Every ticket, every sponsorship, and every hour volunteered helps us change lives right here in Perth and district. Together, we’re making postsecondary education more accessible by:

  • helping young women continue education after highschool,

  • supporting women starting anew,

  • fostering a love of learning in our kids with our financial support of our Lanark Library summer reading programs

Your support also allows CFUW Perth & District to continue our long-standing tradition of providing arts and literacy enrichment to under-serviced elementary schools in Lanark County, as well as financial contributions to charitable organizations in the area.

THIS is what community looks like.

Easy to see a lot of work went into this day - so many volunteers and a few lovely gardens

Had friends with me who have done quite a few of these tours and they were extremely disappointed!

Some suggestions !. A much better map with clearly labelled bathrooms 2. clearer instructions - sounded like needed to go to legion first 3. No where did it say would not be able to see all of the houses or which ones. 4. better choice of houses/gardens -one was only a veggie garden and some art work with a good hike in as we were told it was a short distance and better to park on the road 5. perhaps some …

I loved the so appropriate literary theme and the effort the volunteers put into it. They were clearly having fun with their themes and as a guest, so did I. There was a variety of gardens. The homes were very different, one from the other showing the different tastes and passions of the owners. Gayle M
